Winner: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry went from just another running back in the first half of the season, to a star in the second half, then a superstar during the playoffs.

Not only did he win the rushing title, the Alabama product challenged the narrative that a team can’t win while leaning heavily on the run. His dominant performances against the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens that led to him totaling 377 rushing yards carried the Titans through the first two rounds of the playoffs.

Henry, who is set to be a free agent this offseason, will get paid handsomely for his efforts one way or the other.

Loser: Dion Lewis

There is no other way to say it: Dion Lewis‘ 2019 season was a failure.

He failed to successfully spell Henry when asked to do so, and he wasn’t even an asset out of the backfield in the passing game, which is supposed to be his specialty.

Lewis will be 30 next season and there’s a good chance he has played his last game with the Titans, as the team should look for a younger, more effective alternative to complement their star back.
