Winner: Jayon Brown

While he did have to deal with a few injuries this season, Jayon Brown was one of the best players on defense for Tennessee this season, as he was both an asset against the pass and run. And, despite missing two games during the regular season, he finished third on the team in tackles.

Winner: Rashaan Evans

Don’t let a missed tackle on Mahomes in the AFC title game spoil the overall season Rashaan Evans had. I mean, the guy was also playing hurt against the Chiefs. Aside from that, Evans finished second on the team in tackles and was rock solid against the run. He and Brown are a special duo that we’ll have the privilege of watching for years to come.

Winner: David Long

While he didn’t see much playing time throughout the regular season, David Long stepped up big time against the Ravens. Long is a guy who looks like he’s playing at one million miles per hour, and his solid instincts and ability to prepare were on full display in Baltimore. If he can build off that, the Titans are going to have an embarrassment of riches at the position in 2020.

Loser: Wesley Woodyard

In 2019, the Wesley Woodyard played sparingly, only seeing four games of 40 snaps or more during the regular season, and in the playoffs his solid play in place of Brown was overshadowed by the rookie Long. Unless he’s content with playing a limited role for this team in 2020, there’s a good chance he’s moving on.
