It is mock draft season again for the Tennessee Titans.
The 2020 NFL Draft is 13 weeks from today and the Senior Bowl is this weekend and the Tennessee Titans have fully shifted from playoff mode to draft mode.
As sad as that is to think about, it doesn’t change the fact that it is time we start educating ourselves more on the 2020 NFL Draft class and what better way to do that than with a mock draft.
I went over to The Draft Network and ran a simulation of the 2020 NFL Draft picking for the Tennessee Titans.
Before I start this, I should say that to me there are five positions that need to be addressed at some point in the offseason. Assuming that Jack Conklin, Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry (franchise tag) are back with the Titans in 2020 those needs are:
1. EDGE2 (run focused with athleticism to get to the QB opposite Landry)
2. RB2 (should be a threat as a receiver and ideally can run some too)
3. CB3 (In the next three years there is a good chance that Logan Ryan, Adoree Jackson and Malcolm Butler are all gone even though it is a great trio of CBs. Depth and a future starter is needed)
4. Speed weapon (Someone who can give the Titans a vertical presence and potentially return kicks)
5. QB2
After three rounds of picks, this is the class that the Titans ended up walking away with.
