Running Back

Derrick Henry is a beast and he should absolutely be re-signed by the Titans. However, even if Henry is re-signed, there needs to be a complementary back added behind him.

Dion Lewis has not lived up to his contract. Lewis averaged 3.9 yards per carry and finished with only 209 rushing yards on the season, and he even struggled in an area that he’s supposed to excel, which is being a pass-catcher out of the backfield, with 6.6 yards per reception.

Henry cannot carry the workload he carried in 2019 every year. A back with an ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and a similar bruiser skill set like Henry could be beneficial to take some of the load off of Henry.

However, if Henry is not back in Nashville this summer, this position group moves up my list of concerns. Replacing Henry would be far from easy, and I feel like re-signing Henry, and bringing in a competent backup, would do wonders for this offense.

That being said… Pay the King.
