Offensive line

Offensive Line is another position group that could see turnover in 2020. Right tackle Jack Conklin is also set for free agency, as is swing tackle Dennis Kelly. It is crucial to bring at least one of these guys back.

This unit did an admirable job at run blocking, but the pass protection was abysmal for much of the year. In fact, the Titans were dead last in QB sacked percentage. That is not a recipe for success, and letting Conklin walk could arguably make this worse.

Nate Davis and Jamil Douglas were bad for the first half of the year. Davis eventually settled in, but you would at least like some actual competition for that guard spot. By bringing in Rodger Saffold last spring, and giving extensions to Ben Jones and Taylor Lewan, I do not expect the Titans to be in on the high-priced free agents here.

However, i would expect Conklin to be re-signed and some cheap competition for Davis at the very least. This unit has to be more consistent in 2020.
