The Tennessee Titans have signed 10 players to futures contracts.

With the 2019 season coming to an end, the Tennessee Titans are now looking to the offseason and have signed 10 players to futures contracts.

The 10 players are as follows, according to Turron Davenport of ESPN.com.

DE Amani Bledsoe

RB Dalyn Dawkins

LB Nigel Harris

TE Parker Hesse

C Daniel Munyer

DB Kareem Orr

OL David Quessenberry

WR Trevion Thompson

RB Shaun Wilson

QB Logan Woodside

All 10 players spent time on the Titans’ practice squad this season.

A former seventh-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, quarterback Logan Woodside failed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp and was later placed on the practice squad injured list.

Woodside could realistically compete for a backup quarterback job now that that role is likely to be vacated by a departing Marcus Mariota. Barring something unforeseen, Woodside would be competing for the job behind Ryan Tannehill.

And speaking of backup quarterbacks: the Titans better do their due diligence at the position this offseason. Tannehill has had his own injury issues throughout his career and he tends to play with an aggressive nature that could get him hurt.

Running back Dalyn Dawkins, who played in two games (19 snaps) and totaled 11 carries for 26 yards, could also have a shot at a roster spot depending on what the team does at the position during the offseason.

Tennessee will almost certainly part ways with Dion Lewis this offseason and desperately need another back who can spell Derrick Henry and contribute on third downs.

However, general manager Jon Robinson will likely try to address that need in the 2020 NFL Draft, which would certainly hurt Dawkins’ chances.

Defensive end Amani Bledsoe showed some promise in training camp and during the preseason, but failed to play any snaps during the regular season.
