Admittedly, I picked against the Titans last week, and thankfully I was totally wrong. I’m not about to let that happen again.

There is something special going on with this Titans team this year, that much is obvious. On top of playing at a high level on defense and in the run game, things have fallen into place for Tennessee to get to where it is today.

I understand the concerns with a high-powered Chiefs offense led by Patrick Mahomes, but I also understand that the Titans have had the Chiefs’ and Andy Reid‘s number for years now (Ryan Fitzpatrick was the Titans’ quarterback the last time KC beat Tennessee).

Derrick Henry is going to run wild once again in this game and keep the ball out of Mahomes’ hands, which will limit KC’s opportunities. This will also be the game that Ryan Tannehill and A.J. Brown remind those who have forgotten just how good they’ve been in 2019.

On the back of those players and another bend but don’t break effort from the defense, the Titans will win on a last-second field goal of all things and advance to Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

Titans 30, Chiefs 27
