Staff predictions for the AFC Championship game between the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.

When the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs played in Week 10, it looked like a contest between two productive offenses and opportunistic defenses.

Fast forward to the AFC Championship game and the narrative should be the same, but in the unofficial Week 20 of the 2019 season it still feels like most national media outlets have only managed to stumble through highlights and box scores as they try to explain their predictions.

For the third straight week the Titans come into a playoff game as underdogs, with the team on the other side presenting a unique set of challenges.

Against the New England Patriots, Tennessee was too young and didn’t have enough playoff wins under their belts to beat a combo as storied as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

The next week, the narrative was that the Titans managed to scrape by the New England Patriots but who in the world would pick them to beat the unbeatable Baltimore Ravens? I mean, good job on the fluke win Tennessee but that is as far as you go.

With similar narratives set up for this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, where did our staff (part of the 1% of people who have actually watched the Titans play every game) see this championship game going?
