3. Patrick Mahomes will throw 3 picks

There hasn’t been a more opportunistic defense in these playoffs than Tennessee’s, and perhaps that’s also true for the entirety of the 2019 season. If there’s a tipped pass or a poor read on the quarterback’s part, Titans defenders will most likely be there to take advantage.

Tennessee forced two turnovers against the Patriots in the wild card round and should have had three if not for one pass going right through the arms of Logan Ryan. Against the Ravens, the Titans forced three turnovers from Lamar Jackson (two picks, one fumble).

In total, two of Tennessee’s three interceptions this postseason have come off tipped passes (the other was the result of Kenny Vaccaro jumping a route).

In the biggest game of his life, Patrick Mahomes and his receivers are going to make mistakes, and for just the second time in his career, Mahomes will throw three interceptions in a game (the last time he did that was November 19th, 2018 against the Los Angeles Rams).

Such a scenario will heavily swing the game in the Titans’ favor, thus leading them to their second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history and the first since the 1999 season.
