CBS Sports picks

Here’s where the eight NFL experts from CBS Sports stand on the game between the Titans and Chiefs.

Pete Prisco: Kansas City (30-20)

Jason La Canfora: Kansas City

Will Brinson: Kansas City

Jared Dubin: Kansas City

Ryan Wilson: Kansas City

John Breech: Tennessee

Dave Richard: Kansas City

Jamey Eisenberg: Kansas City

Of the eight CBS Sports experts making picks, seven are going with Kansas City, while only one is picking Tennessee — and that one expert picking Tennessee, John Breech, was also the only one to go against the grain and pick the Titans over the Ravens.

We like Mr. Breech.

Pete Prisco, who sees the final score being 30-20 in favor of the Chiefs, believes Tennessee’s defense won’t stop Mahomes and Kansas City’s offense. He says this will lead to Tennessee falling behind and hurt their chances of getting Henry going.

The only problem with Prisco’s prediction is that offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has shown he isn’t afraid to keep feeding Henry the rock even when the Titans are trailing, so we’ll have to see what happens if the Chiefs do indeed get off to a fast start and build an early lead.
