What are the opening odds for the AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans?

The Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs will meet in the AFC Championship Game next Sunday to determine who will be the AFC representative in Super Bowl LIV.

The Chiefs pulled off an impressive comeback after falling behind 24-0 to the Houston Texans. Kansas City, led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, went on to score 41 unanswered points to complete a 51-31 win over Houston.

On Saturday night, the Titans shocked the world and defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 28-12, one week after upending the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots in Foxboro, 20-13.

With the stage set, here’s a look at the opening lines for the AFC Championship Game, courtesy of The Action Network.

Spread: Chiefs -7.5

Over/Under: 51.5

The No. 6 seed Titans being an underdog isn’t much of a surprise. The Chiefs were the No. 2 seed in the AFC coming into the playoffs and will be at home for this game.

Kansas City easily covered the spread in their win over the Texans, while the Titans have covered the spread in each of their two playoff matchups.

This will be the second meeting between these two squads this season.

In the Week 10 showdown between Tennessee and Kansas City, it was the Titans who emerged victorious thanks to a field goal block in the closing seconds that sealed a 35-32 win at Nissan Stadium.

Not much has changed since that game as far as each of these offenses go.

The Titans and Chiefs have been two of the most explosive offenses in the NFL during the second half of the season, and that 67-point outburst in Week 10 was no fluke.

Tennessee and Kansas City will meet on Sunday, January 19th at 2:05 p.m. CST, with the game being broadcast on CBS.
