3. David Long will lead Titans in tackles

After looking like an impressive young player during the preseason, rookie David Long hasn’t been too involved in the Titans’ defense during the regular season. In fact, Long has only played double-digit snaps in four games, and his highest tackle total in a game was eight.

Now that Jayon Brown is not suiting up, Long will get an opportunity to show what he can do on a big stage, and this matchup with the Ravens is one that could show his talent.

If there’s one thing we know about Long, it’s that he’s a guy who plays fast, and he’ll need to be playing at warp speed if he’s going to be able to match what Lamar Jackson and the Ravens can do on offense.

Expect Long to get more than the lion’s share of snaps over Wesley Woodyard with the Titans needing more speed on the field, and Long will be a difference-maker with an expanded role that will lead to him earning the most tackles and making a serious impact in the divisional round game.
