NFL.com and Sporting News picks

Gregg Rosenthal, NFL.com: Baltimore (35-27)

A somewhat common thread among experts seems to be that the Titans will keep this game close, as Rosenthal sees this game being a one-possession contest. Despite that, he doesn’t think Tennessee has as much talent as Baltimore and doesn’t believe the Titans’ defense has what it takes to stop the Ravens’ No. 1 scoring offense.

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News: Baltimore (30-17)

Not only does Iyer have Baltimore winning, but he thinks it’ll be by two scores. While Iyer notes that the Titans can control the clock with Derrick Henry, he makes a very good point that the Ravens are capable of the same with their rushing attack. He believes the Ravens will control Henry and force Ryan Tannehill to win this game with his arm.

Tadd Haislop, Sporting News: Baltimore (30-17)

Haislop’s score prediction falls right in line with Iyer’s, and clearly the Sporting News experts are not of the opinion that this game will be all that close. Haislop believes the Ravens’ rushing attack is unstoppable, and although he gives credit to Tennessee’s defense as being “respectable”, he doesn’t think it can stop the Ravens, and especially Jackson.
