There are reasons for optimism and concern for the Tennessee Titans against the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round game.

The Tennessee Titans come into their divisional round matchup with the Baltimore Ravens riding high after defeating the New England Patriots in the wild card game.

While the Titans were underdogs to the defending Super Bowl champions, there was a common thought that at the very least, the Pats were vulnerable to be upended by Tennessee. In the end, that thought proved to be true.

The Titans face a different circumstance this week. The Ravens finished with the best record in the NFL this season at 14-2, and there isn’t a sense of vulnerability by any stretch with this team.

Baltimore sports the soon-to-be Most Valuable Player in quarterback Lamar Jackson, and their roster from top to bottom is one of the best all around.

There’s no question the Titans will be facing their most difficult opponent of the 2019 season thus far, and they’ll do so on the road in a hostile environment at M&T Bank Stadium.

The matchup in and of itself is concerning for Titans fans, but there are also reasons to be optimistic about Tennessee’s chances at another upset this week.
