8. Houston Texans

Things were looking really bad for the Texans in the first half of their game against the Bills. The offense was stagnant en route to zero points through the first two quarters, and the defense was regularly getting beaten by the Josh Allen-led Bills.

Trailing 16-0 in the third quarter, Houston finally woke up. Deshaun Watson sparked a Texans offense that looked dead in the dirt, and a few blunders by the Bills allowed Houston to climb back into the game.

After both teams traded possessions in overtime, Ka’imi Fairbairn‘s 28-yard field goal put the Texans over the top and enabled them to advance to the next round.

Awaiting the Texans in the divisional round will be the Kansas City Chiefs. In an earlier meeting between these two teams in Week 6, the Texans emerged victorious, 31-24; however the Chiefs have played their best football down the stretch and will be favorites on Sunday.
