3. Titans will get off to a fast start

Whether it has been with Mariota or Tannehill at quarterback, Tennessee has been a slow starter in just about every game this season. Whatever the case may be, the Titans just don’t really get going until the second half of games.

In what will be a far cry from what we’ve seen all season, Tennessee is going to get off to a fast start and not only hold the Pats to no points on their first drive, but will also score a touchdown on its opening offensive possession.

Go figure, the Titans will save one of their best starts of the season for a pressure-packed playoff game in Foxborough, and with a quarterback who has never played in a playoff game before.

From there, things will even out, but at least Titans fans won’t be in an all-out panic like most weeks when they watch their team fall behind early.

No, that panic will come later in the game when the Titans are clinging to a lead or in the throes of a battle that sees a tie score late, which leads me to my next bold prediction.
