The Tennessee Titans need the veterans to play off of the strengths of the rookies and vice versa.

Jon Robinson and the Tennessee Titans had one of the best draft classes in the NFL last year, and if you don’t believe us (or your own eyes) then check out what PFF had to say.

With that in mind, I wanted to look at a unique dynamic that the Titans are going to face against the Patriots. Can the rookies and veterans play off of each other enough to combine for more than the sum of their parts?

This isn’t one of the rookies I mentioned, but imagine if I was talking about the trio of Ben Jones, Nate Davis and Jack Conklin.

Both Jones and Conklin have been outstanding, so one thing that Davis could do to play off of that dominance is to trust that either Jones or Conklin is capable to doing the harder assignments.

So every now and then (after giving them a heads up) maybe instead of chipping on a DT that he knows Ben Jones can overtake by himself, Davis screams to the second level and gets his massive frame on a linebacker to open up a bigger running lane for Henry.

There are little things that the rookies and veterans can do to play off each other at several positions, and these are the players that I can see getting the most benefit after
