Two Tennessee Titans players have been named as All-Pros by the Associated Press.

In what is the first round of what could be multiple accolades for Tennessee Titans players this year, a pair of Titans have been named to the All-Pro team.

The only Titans player to make first-team All-Pro was punter Brett Kern, who had yet another sensational season and continues to prove he’s the best in the business at his job. Kern received 34 votes, which was 21 more than the next closest punter.

Kern led the NFL in punts inside the 20 (37) and was No. 4 in gross average yards per punt (47.1) net average yards per punt (43.1). This is the first time the Titans punter has been named as a first-team All-Pro.

Running back Derrick Henry was named a second-team All-Pro at running back and Flex, falling just behind Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey at both spots. McCaffrey totaled over 1,000 yards both on the ground and through the air in 2019.

Henry exploded in the second half of the season and won the rushing title with 1,540 yards, and his 16 touchdowns on the ground was also the best mark in the league. This is his first All-Pro selection.

Other players who received votes for their positions included cornerback Logan Ryan (four at defensive back), center Ben Jones (two) and safety Kevin Byard (seven).

The Titans, a team that started off 2-4 before reeling off 7 of their last 10, will look to continue their season with a win over the New England Patriots in the Wildcard round on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium.
