In which direction are NFL experts from different media outlets going for the wild-card game between the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots?

The Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots will meet on Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. CST in a wild-card matchup at Gillette Stadium. These two teams last met in the playoffs during the 2017 season when the Pats beat the Titans in the divisional round.

The Titans finished the 2019 season with a 9-7 record and grabbed the No. 6 seed in the AFC after a Week 17 win over the Houston Texans.

The Pats finished with an impressive 12-4 record that was only soured by the fact that they dropped from the No. 2 seed and missed out on a first-round bye after a regular season finale loss to the Miami Dolphins, coupled with a Kansas City Chiefs win.

In what is a scenario in which Tennessee fans are not used to, there is a lot of hype for their team in this game against the defending Super Bowl champs.

Because the Pats have struggled on offense somewhat this season and the Titans have thrived in the second half of the campaign, there are some analysts out there who see an upset happening in this game.

Titans fans are staying humble, though, but there is definitely a general confidence that this resurgent team actually has a legit shot of walking into Foxborough and grabbing a win on Saturday night.

So, are NFL experts from ESPN, CBS Sports, NFL.com and Sporting News buying into the hype with the Titans, or do they believe this will be just another Patriots playoff win?

Let’s find out.
