No. 2: Right Tackle Jack Conklin

Titans Tenure: 2016-Present

After some maneuvering up and down the draft board, the Titans eventually selected right tackle Jack Conklin with the eight overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. The former Michigan State product came out on fire right out the gate as he earned first team All-pro honors his rookie year and seemed to be a definite for this list.

However, after a slight regression during his second year as a professional the Titans right tackle tore his ACL in the teams divisional round playoff loss to the patriots which eventually caused an even greater regression the following year before his season was shut down all together due to another injury. This led to the team rejecting his fifth year option raising questions as to whether the team would ever see their dominant right tackle again.

That question was answered with an emphatic yes during the 2019 season as he bounced back in a big way. Conklin’s 93% Pass Block Win Rate, ranked 8th among 65 qualified offensive tackles in 2019. Consistent play  like this is undoubtedly going to force the Titans’ front office to make a difficult decision regarding his future beyond the current 2019 season.

The former first rounder’s dominant rookie year as well as his resurgent 2019 after regaining his health has earned Jack Conklin the second spot on the Titans’ top offensive linemen of the decade.
