2. Ryan Tannehill

Titans QB Ryan “Tannethrill” slots in at No. 2, but it was a tough decision. Given the limited sample size we have of Tannehill in the two-tone blue, I couldn’t bring myself to give him the nod as the best Titans QB of the decade. I’m sure he’ll be worthy of consideration ten years from now.

Tannehill heads into Week 17 leading the league in passer rating. His 116.5 edges out New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees’ 115.7, and Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson’s 113.3.

And, Tannehill isn’t just dinkin’ and dunkin’, either. His average yards per completion is an astounding 9.6 — a full 1.2 yards higher than Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

The future is bright under center in Tennessee, and Tannehill has shown what it takes to get this team to the next level. To further cement his role as a Titan, however, Tannehill needs to trailblaze this team past its mediocrity and make a run into the 2019 playoffs.
