Winner No. 4: Kevin Byard
If the Titans are to make a playoff run, Kevin Byard is one guy defensively that they will have to depend on in order to pull off some upsets.
Byard had another solid performance on Sunday, picking up seven tackles and a pass deflection, along with his fifth interception of the season.
That interception helped lead to Henry winning the rushing title and sealed the game for the Titans, though in most situations, considering the pick came on a fourth down, it was detrimental to the team’s field position.
But with a two-score lead and less than four minutes to go, I’m sure nobody was too mad that Byard intercepted the pass instead of letting it fall to the turf.
Byard finished the 2019 campaign with 60 solo tackles, nine pass deflections, and five interceptions. He remains one of the best safeties in the league, though still very underrated, and while he did have his struggles in coverage throughout this season, he overall was pretty solid in this game.
