The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans have released their inactive lists for the Week 17 game at NRG Stadium.

The Week 17 inactives lists for the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans are out.

Ahead of Sunday we already knew that cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and wide receivers Adam Humphries and Kalif Raymond would be inactive.

But there was some good news, as wide receiver Corey Davis, running back Derrick Henry and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons were all able to practice this week and carried no designation into Sunday.

The only player carrying a designation for Tennessee was wide receiver Cody Hollister, who was questionable. Hollister will be inactive for this contest.

Here’s a look at both teams’ inactives.

Tennessee inactives

Houston inactives

A report by ESPN’s Dianna Russini on Sunday morning stated that the Texans would start quarterback AJ McCarron over Deshaun Watson, but Watson is still active for this game and will likely serve as the backup just in case something happens to McCarron.

Of course, we won’t officially know if that’s the case until McCarron takes the field on Houston’s first offensive series of the game.

Also, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is active, but as Russini reported, he is likely to see limited snaps in Week 17. Fellow wideout Will Fuller was ruled out on Friday, and Kenny Stills, who was listed as questionable on Friday, is inactive.

Houston will also be without left tackle Laremy Tunsil and defensive lineman D.J. Reader.

With a win, the Titans will advance to the playoffs, but a loss would mean Tennessee needs help via losses by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts.

Meanwhile, the Texans could have a shot at the No. 3 seed if the Kansas City Chiefs were to lose to the Los Angeles Chargers, however that’s apparently not enough for head coach Bill O’Brien to risk injury to some of his key players in what could be a meaningless game.

That’s great news for Tennessee, as winning this game now becomes a bit easier.

The Titans and Texans will kickoff at 3:25 p.m. CST.
