Regardless of who plays for the Houston Texans, I still have very little confidence in this version of the Tennessee Titans defense. Luckily, the offense looks like it is going into the game very healthy with Corey Davis and Derrick Henry both practicing in full this week.

In a game that truly matters, history has taught me to expect a massive letdown and heartbreak. However, the Ryan Tannehill version of the Tennessee Titans seems different and it would be such a shame for any other team to get the second wild card spot in the playoffs.

With those things in mind, I am going to go ahead and lean towards the Titans who have everything to play for and who will hopefully be facing a Houston Texans team that is more worried about keeping people healthy than spiting the Tennessee Titans.

Whatever happens with the Texans, I think this Titans team is capable of scoring 40 points per game with Henry healthy and with Ryan Tannehill playing well. So with that in mind I’ll take the Titans in a game that is much higher scoring than fans want it to be.

Final score prediction: Titans 35, Texans 24
