18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Draft position: 14th
Don’t get confused, this team is incredibly troubled at the most important position in the NFL. Jameis Winston isn’t the answer in Tampa unless the question is: Who is the only QB to throw 30+ TDs and INTs.
However, it is so hard not to be impressed with Bruce Arians and the receivers that have managed to make the most out of Jameis Winston. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and Breshad Perriman all looked really good when called upon this year.
The front seven of the defense should be one of the best in the NFL if they keep everyone. That would mean that you get Shaq Barrett, Vita Vea, Devin White, Lavonte David, and Jason Pierre-Paul all capable of making big plays.
If the Bucs can find a way to get better at QB and get something from their DBs, then they are in good shape for next year.
17. Dallas Cowboys
Draft position: 17th
Like the Cleveland Browns, you just can’t help but feel disappointed in what we got from the Dallas Cowboys this year.
Defensively, injuries to Leighton Vander Esch hurt as well as the regression of Jaylon Smith after getting paid. Demarcus Lawrence also struggled to hold up his end of the bargain after getting a big contract.
The offensive line is fine, but not what it used to be and with a coaching change coming you can expect that this team may look different next year from style to composition.
