32. New York Giants
Draft position: 4th
It may surprise you to see the Giants here, but I honestly have no idea what they have going on for them going forward.
Daniel Jones seems like he needs the Jared Goff treatment to make any sort of positive impact in the NFL and right now the Giants are going to have to run their offense through a running back behind a bad offensive line.
Defensively, I don’t know what they have to brag about aside from way too many big defensive tackles.
They aren’t going to be able to land Chase Young or Joe Burrow at 4 and I have a bad feeling that they are going to draft Derrick Brown based on how bad this front office has been since Jerry Reese was fired.
31. Cincinnati Bengals
Draft position: 1st
I’m not taking Joe Burrow into account here and I am just looking at the talent that the Bengals are likely to have in 2020, but man I am a little bit excited for how they could turn out.
Don’t get me wrong, it is going to get ugly and there is going to be some time needed to rebuild that offensive line. Speaking of which, one of the big reasons I have the Bengals this low is because I have concerns about whether Cincy will be able to get any free agents to come knowing all of the troubles they have had the last few years.
If that can get fixed and the Bengals can figure out a way to get a little bit better in the trenches on both sides of the ball, the could be a fun team next year.
