4. Kansas City Chiefs

Draft position: Playoffs

The Chiefs get this spot because I think they have one of the two most electric quarterbacks in the league in Patrick Mahomes. When he has the ball in his hand, it doesn’t matter who is at receiver, you should be terrified if you are on defense.

We all know how great and fast that offense is, but I want to talk about the defense. With Juan Thornhill out for the playoffs, they are going in limping a little bit. However, there are some players on that defense playing at a really high level with guys like Tyrann Mathieu, Frank Clark and Chris Jones all making some big plays today.

This team will go as the offense goes, but the defense is going to get some plays of their own.

3. New Orleans Saints

Draft position: Playoffs

Drew Brees is unreal and he is playing at an incredibly high level right now. Not only that, but Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara are getting hot around him which can only mean trouble for opposing defenses.

As if the incredible precision of Brees and the explosiveness of those play makers wasn’t enough, the Saints defense is led by Cameron Jordan who is having a career year.

With those huge names playing better than nearly anyone else in the league at their positions, it is going to be hard to argue a team that has more players whose ceiling is that high.
