Clemson: Tee Higgins, WR

Not to repeat myself, but it is very rare to see a wide receiver prospect who hits that 2,000 yard in two years mark. In fact, let me take a second to show you how rare by listing the draft eligible WRs from Power-5 schools that fit that criteria  right now:

-Tylan Wallace, Oregon State

-CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma

-Tyler Johnson, Minnesota

-Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

-Justin Jefferson, LSU

-Isaiah Hodgins, Oregon State

-Michael Pittman, USC

-Tee Higgins, Clemson

That is it, just eight players in all of college football who can claim that number.

While there is going to be a lot of love for guys like Henry Ruggs, K.J. Hamler, Lavishka Shenault, etc. the history of the Titans that brought them A.J. Brown, Corey Davis and Tajae Sharpe all suggests that this is the short list that the Titans are working with.

The thing that makes Higgins a little bit more intriguing than the average receiver on that list is that Higgins is from East Tennessee about 2 hours away from Nashville.

Jon Robinson grew up in Tennessee himself and I am sure he is very familiar with the success that Higgins had in high school ball.

In fact, Robinson was in the building when Higgins won his second “Mr. Football” honor, considering the award ceremony takes place at Nissan Stadium.

All of that comes together to give him a bump and make him a standout in this deep and talented class of WRs.
