Concern: Titans struggle at NRG Stadium

The Texans have put together a solid 5-2 record at home this season, which only adds to the worry about the Titans playing at NRG Stadium. Putting that record aside, the Titans have not had success in Houston in a long time.

The Texans have won each of the past seven meetings with the Titans at NRG Stadium dating back to 2012. And in those seven games, Houston has averaged 35.9 points per game, while Tennessee has averaged 16.6.

On the bright side, you can argue those numbers should be thrown out the window for a few reasons.

  1. The Texans might rest their starters.
  2. This Titans offense is unlike anything this franchise has seen in a long time, if ever, and a lot has changed between those meetings and this one.

No matter what kind of spin you want to put on it, the Titans have some demons to exorcise in Week 17.
