. 1-14. Previous: 32nd. Cincinnati Bengals. 32. team. 56

Recap: As has been the case all season, the Bengals played an opponent tough, but fell just short. After falling behind 28-6 in the third quarter, the Dolphins scored 29 points in the final two quarters to send the game into overtime. Their amazing comeback effort was thwarted after the Dolphins scored the game-winning points on a last-second field goal as time expired in the extra frame.

Outlook: Despite the heartbreaking nature of the loss, it was actually the best thing possible for the Bengals. Cincinnati now officially owns the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and will have their pick of the lot in April. That pick will almost certainly be LSU’s Joe Burrow.

team. 58. . 3-12. Previous: 30th. Washington Commanders. 31

Recap: It looked like the Redskins weren’t going to show up in Week 16 with the Giants’ offense blowing the doors off of them early on, but the Redskins actually fought back and forced the game into overtime. From there, Daniel Jones and Co. would take its opening possession in the extra frame for six, securing Washington’s loss.

Outlook: This loss is actually great news for the Redskins. Now Washington owns the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and is in position to land prized pass-rusher Chase Young for the time being. Washington will look to seal its draft fate next week in Dallas against the Cowboys.
