NFL Power Rankings, Week 17: Eagles rise, Seahawks fall, Titans stay put
Recap: The Eagles and Cowboys’ game of hot potato with the NFC East continued in Week 16, as it looked as though neither team wanted to win this game. Dallas only mustered up three field goals the entire game and their bid to send the game into overtime was thwarted with the Eagles making one last stop late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Outlook: Now the Cowboys need help to make the playoffs. If Philly wins or Dallas loses, the Cowboys are automatically out. If the Cowboys win and the Eagles lose, Dallas will continue their season. No matter what happens, we’re likely looking at the Cowboys moving on from Jason Garrett after this season. Dallas will host Washington in Week 17.
Recap: The Bears ran into a brick wall in Week 16 against the Chiefs. Chicago was trailing Kansas City 17-0 going into the second half and could only muster up three points the entire game in what was a 26-3 loss to the Chiefs.
Outlook: An already struggling Bears offense didn’t do much to instill hope in the future after yet another disappointing outing. With their playoff hopes long gone and many questions surrounding their future at quarterback, Chicago will hit the road to take on the Vikings in Week 17.
