No. 5: Cortland Finnegan

Cornerback Cortland Finnegan kicks off the All-Decade cornerback list for the Titans. Finnegan was a dynamic force for the Tennessee defense that reminded fans of the chippy teams from earlier in the century.

Finnegan came into the league as an overlooked seventh rounder in 2006 but became an immediate impact player, playing in all 16 games that season.

Finnegan’s feisty nature fueled his play that helped him overcome his undersized stature as he became the starter from 2007 until he departed the team in 2012. He is most notoriously known for his on-field fights, particularly his skirmish with Andre Johnson.

Finnegan’s peak led the Titans to 13 wins in 2008 with five picks and a spot in the Pro Bowl and All-Pro team. Despite Finnegan’s elite play, he only posted two seasons in this decade, causing him to drop on this list.

While Finnegan departed the Titans in 2012 to join his old coach Jeff Fisher in St. Louis, he secured the love of many Titans fans in his career.
