Notes
-This is the second time in three weeks that Austin Johnson has been in the top five on limited snaps, as he’s seen just 16 to 20 in each of his last four games. Johnson totaled just two tackles.
–Kamalei Correa helped provide some pressure off the edge opposite Harold Landry. Correa had the Titans’ only sack and notched four tackles, also.
-One of two ties in the top five went to Jeffery Simmons and DaQuan Jones. Simmons in particular has been quiet since a loud debut. The Titans allowed 104 yards (4.1 yards per carry) to Texans back Carlos Hyde.
-Jayon Brown and Kenny Vaccaro also tied with a 79.9. Vaccaro’s pick in the first quarter was a thing of beauty, as the Titans disguised man coverage with Brown on running back Duke Johnson, and then switched to zone, which fooled Deshaun Watson into throwing a pick right into the waiting hands of Vaccaro. Brown led the Titans with 10 tackles on Sunday.
