The Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers are two teams moving down in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 16 after losing their respective contests.

The Tennessee Titans had a golden opportunity to take over first place in the AFC South in Week 15, but their loss to the Houston Texans has hurt their playoff hopes and sent them in the wrong direction in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 16.

The Titans’ kicking woes caught up to them once again, and combined with a wasted opportunity at the goal line early in the game, head coach Mike Vrabel’s squad ended up taking a home loss in a crucial game against a division rival.

The biggest surprise of the afternoon came in San Francisco, as the 49ers blew a late lead and fell victim in a trap game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Niners’ loss, combined with a Seattle Seahawks win, has kicked San Fran out of the top spot in the NFC for the time being.

The Los Angeles’ Rams Week 15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys was good news for three teams, as the Seahawks, Niners and Green Bay Packers all clinched playoff berths because of it.

Let’s take a look at where the entire league stands in the NFL Power Rankings going into Week 16 after Sunday’s action.
