Concern: Titans’ injured secondary vs. Texans’ passing attack

Even at full strength, the Titans would have to be concerned about the Texans’ passing attack. Overall, Houston ranks as the No. 10 passing offense, and that ranking really doesn’t do it justice.

Deshaun Watson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best receivers in the NFL, and Will Fuller is an elite deep threat who can score from anywhere on the field.

Fuller was ruled out in Week 14 after getting in a week of limited practices, and he started off this practice week limited also. A lot of attention is rightfully paid to Hopkins with how great he is, but the Texans just aren’t the same offense without Fuller on the field.

Tennessee has a slew of injury concerns in the secondary going into Week 15. Both LeShaun Sims and Adoree’ Jackson were out last week, and while Sims practiced on Wednesday, Jackson did not. Adding to their issues, safety Kenny Vaccaro is currently in the concussion protocol after leaving last week’s game early, although he did get in a limited practice on Wednesday.

Tye Smith and Tramaine Brock did a solid job last week, however the Titans will be facing much more dangerous passing offenses the next three weeks and need all hands on deck in order to stop Watson and Co. on Sunday.

The injuries to the secondary become even more problematic when you consider the Titans haven’t been able to generate a consistent enough pass-rush outside of Harold Landry.
