Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown saw his ratings get a boost after his sensational Week 14 performance against the Oakland Raiders.

Tennessee Titans rookie wideout A.J. Brown asked for a ratings boost from the video game Madden NFL 20 after dropping 153 yards and two touchdowns on the Oakland Raiders in Week 14 — and the game obliged.

Brown’s career-best yardage output included a 91-yard touchdown reception on a pass from Ryan Tannehill and was just one of two scores the Ole Miss product compiled in the 42-21 win over the Raiders.

Brown’s impressive talent was certainly on full display in what was the best game of his career. Following the game, Brown suggested that his ratings in Madden 20 needed an update.

Well, Madden 20 apparently listened, as it answered his tweet on Thursday and let him know he received an increase in some ratings going into Week 15. Brown now sits at a 78 overall rating (up from 77), and while he was happy to see it, the rookie still thinks it needs work.

The biggest bump Brown saw was in his strength rating, which jumped up seven points from a 66 to 73. Strength is one of his best qualities, as he routinely breaks tackles and powers past defenders en route to big gains, and we saw that once again when he scored his second touchdown on Sunday.

And speaking of broken tackles, Brown also got a bump by four points there to a 78.

Another big stat that Brown saw an increase in was his speed, as he went from a 89 to 90. In total, he saw an increase of a point or more in 17 different categories. You can check out the full list of his ratings increases on the official Madden 20 site.

We could definitely see more increases as the season closes out. Brown is currently in the midst of a potential Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign with 779 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

Among rookie wideouts, Brown is second in yards to DK Metcalf’s 783, and tied for first in touchdowns. It has been quite the first season for the Titans’ 2019 second-round pick.
