Derrick Henry injury updates: The latest on Titans RB’s Week 15 status
Follow this tracker for all the latest updates on the Week 15 status of Tennessee Titans running back, Derrick Henry.
It was clear that Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was playing hurt in Week 14 and that his hamstring injury is something to be concerned about. Both head coach Mike Vrabel and Henry confirmed he was playing through injury during the win over the Oakland Raiders.
With the Titans making a playoff push, they can ill-afford to lose their best player on offense for any amount of time. As the week progresses we’ll know more about just where Henry stands ahead of the crucial Week 15 game against the Houston Texans.

Friday updates
The Friday injury report confirms that Henry did not practice yet again on Friday and he is listed as questionable for the Week 15 game.
Henry did not practice yet again on Friday, but was not one of three players who head coach Mike Vrabel has already ruled out.
We’re still waiting for the official injury report to see what his official designation is, so check back for that later.
Thursday updates
Henry did not end up practicing on Thursday after telling reporters that he’d be “ready to go” for Sunday.
Before practice on Thursday, Henry made it clear that he’ll be fine for Week 15, per Erik Bacharach of the Tennessean.
Wednesday updates
Henry did not practice on Wednesday, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering head coach Mike Vrabel made it clear after Sunday’s game that the team would take the same approach it did the two weeks prior he was listed on the injury report with a hamstring issue, which was to limit Henry’s practice reps.
Two weeks ago, Henry was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before getting in a full practice on Friday. Last week, Henry didn’t practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and then got in a full practice on Friday.
With the way he was obviously playing hurt in Week 14 against the Oakland Raiders, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him sit out the first two practice days of the week, with Friday being the ultimate determining factor in him suiting up for Sunday.
At best, we can expect a limited practice on Thursday, which would certainly be a good sign since it would be an upgrade from his Wednesday participation. No practice on Thursday, however, would create a bit more concern going into Friday’s practice.
