Top PFF grades: Defense

These were the highest-graded Titans on defense from Sunday.

-Talk about making the most of your opportunity! Smith, who was in for all but three snaps in Week 14, earned the second-highest grade of any player on both sides of the ball, and the highest on defense. Smith’s eight tackles were tied for the second-most on the team and he forced a huge fumble that Jayon Brown took to the house for a touchdown.

-Speaking of Brown, he earned the third-best grade on defense with seven tackles (two solo, one for loss) and recovered a fumble for a touchdown that put the icing on the cake for a Tennessee victory.

-I’m never surprised to see Jurrell Casey and Kevin Byard make this list. Byard was tied for second on the team in tackles, and Casey added five tackles of his own, and helped out on a tackle for loss.

-Reggie Gilbert comes in at No. 2 here. In just 18 snaps, Gilbert totaled two tackles (one solo).
