A.J. Brown: Offensive Rookie of the Year

I think the national media is going to be so enamored with Nick Bosa and the rise of the San Francisco 49ers, that they might actually give him the rookie of the year award for his play this season.

However, when it comes down to the OROY I have a hard time seeing how anyone is doing more than A.J. Brown.

I have been pretty vocal about this and even wrote a longer article on it yesterday which you can find here, but I think this tweet is a nice summary:

I mean, when you are a receiver who could potentially join a club whose only members over the last 60 years are Randy Moss, Odell Beckham and Michael Thomas then I’m sorry but there is no better rookie than you.

One of the more underrated part of this story is that he is doing this with very little volume and an offensive coordinator who didn’t even play more than 50% of the team’s snaps until Week 5!!

Look at his efficiency:

Give this man an award ASAP.
