10. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen and his Bills put up a real effort against the Baltimore Ravens, but ultimately it ended up being too little too late as the Ravens still managed to halt a last minute Bills drive and pick up the win.

Still, point made Buffalo. The fact that you handled the Ravens offense as well as you did and that you did it while almost picking up a win yourself is enough to make me start to believe in you.

The Bills are down a few spots because I still don’t know how much I believe in them, but for now they have my respect and it is rare that you get anything like that when you lose a game in the NFL.

9. Houston Texans

The division is now all tied up with the Titans and Texans even at 8-5. All of that is academic though since the two have three games left and two of those games are against each other.

However, if momentum is real then it isn’t on the side of the Texans who just laid a huge egg in a key spot against the Denver Broncos. The score makes you think it was only a two score game, but in reality it was 38-3 at one point and that was exactly how it felt.

Houston is 2-2 in their last 4 games and their wins have come by an average 4.5 points and their losses have come by an average of 24 points. Those two blowouts should have really hurt the perception of the Texans, but at the end of the day it will all come down to what the Titans and Texans do against each other.
