There were three major takeaways from the Tennessee Titans’ 21-point Week 14 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

The Tennessee Titans came into Oakland riding a three-game winning streak along with a growing reputation as a legitimate contender in the AFC.

There are many who still refuse to buy into the Ryan Tannehill hype for whatever reason. Those beliefs seem to be getting sillier by the week as the former eighth overall pick is playing as good as almost any quarterback in the National Football League at the moment.

This Titans team is undoubtedly legit, as they had another dominant outing on the road leading to a convincing fourth straight victory over the Raiders. The Titans have now won six of their last seven games and are playing as good a brand of complementary football as any team in the league.

The Titans also received help from the Broncos in the form of a 14-point victory over the division-leading Texans, bringing them to the same 8-5 record that the Titans now have.

Following the win on Sunday, The Titans will now have their chance to crown themselves the champions of the AFC South for the first time since 2008 if they’re able to handle their own business against their division rival.

Two out of the team’s final three games are against the Texans in games that will undoubtedly go a long way towards deciding the fate of the division.

As the season winds down, these are three of my main takeaways from the Titans’ 21-point victory over the Raiders.
