Loser No. 2 – Corey Davis

I know this is going to make some people mad, but as A.J. Brown continues to impose his will as the Titans main receiving threat, Corey Davis proves week after week that he is just not a top passing option for the Titans.

Davis caught two of his four targets for 34 yards, and again didn’t make too much of an impact in the passing game. To his credit, he is an absolutely exceptional run blocker, but nobody drafts a wide receiver fifth overall to block.

A wide receiver drafted that high is expected to make a big impact in the passing game. Rationalize it how you will but at the end of the day, Davis just has not merited being drafted as high as he was.

There is still time for him to improve, but as of right now, Davis is heading dangerously towards “bust” territory, if he isn’t there already.
