Winner No. 1: Ryan Tannehill

There have been reports of the Titans considering a contract extension for Ryan Tannehill after the season, with Tannehill being a catalyst in the team’s turnaround from a 2-4 start.

After his performance against the Raiders, the Titans’ desire to give him a new contract will only intensify. The Tannehill magic continued on Sunday, as Tannehill had one of his best games ever.

He threw for 391 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception on 21-of-27 passing, and added 19 yards on four carries as well. He was also not sacked once in the game, though he was hit three times.

Tannehill had an early blunder on the first drive of the game, as he had a screen pass intercepted by Maurice Hurst. Tannehill would make a touchdown-saving tackle on the play, but it would eventually lead to a Raiders score.

Tannehill bounced back and absolutely torched the Raiders secondary all game long.

His signature touchdown pass for the game was a 91-yard bomb to A.J. Brown in the second quarter, the longest pass of Tannehill’s career.

Tannehill improved to 6-1 as the starting quarterback for the Titans, and now there shouldn’t be much of a question of whether or not Tannehill should be re-signed.
