Mike Vrabel

The jury is definitely still out on head coach Mike Vrabel and we’re going to learn a lot more about if he has what it takes to lead this team to greatness over the next four weeks, but it’s safe to say he has removed himself from the hot seat with Titans fans for the time being.

Vrabel has seen his team go from 2-4 after six games to 7-5 after 12, and he deserves credit for making the switch from Marcus Mariota to Ryan Tannehill when the Titans’ season was on life support, no matter how obvious of a decision it seemed to be at the time.

And, after making a bunch of terrible decisions earlier in the season in game situations, Vrabel has avoided making any more during Tennessee’s hot streak.

Regardless, winning has cured a lot of the tension surrounding Vrabel with Titans fans, and now he’s in a position to get the Titans to their first double-digit win season since 2008 and their first playoff appearance since 2017.
