Offensive snap counts and takeaways

Here’s a look at the snap counts from the offensive side of the ball for the Titans in the Week 13 win over the Colts.

Takeaways

-For the first time this season, A.J. Brown out-snapped Corey Davis in a game in which they both played. It appears we have a changing of the guard officially at the No. 1 receiver spot, as the Titans clearly prefer the rookie over the third-year pro more often than not.

-This isn’t much of a surprise but Jonnu Smith remains the preferred tight end, as he out-snapped Anthony Firkser 52 to 19. Even with that fact, Firkser still was more productive in the passing game, totaling 22 receiving yards on three catches to Smith’s zero on two receptions.

-In Tajae Sharpe‘s absence, Cody Hollister saw just two snaps and Kalif Raymond got 17. Sharpe, who saw his snaps dwindling already after playing in just nine in Week 12, might lose more to Raymond after his clutch 40-yard touchdown catch.

Dion Lewis continues to rightfully be relegated to the “give Derrick Henry a breather” role after seeing just 11 snaps to Henry’s 45 on Sunday. That’s right, Titans, keep feeding The King.
