Winner No. 4: Kamalei Correa
When the Titans traded for Correa in August of 2018, there were some who believed he could develop into a solid every down edge-rusher for the team. He hasn’t quite met those expectations as of yet, but he did have himself a pretty good game.
Correa finished with six tackles, two tackles for a loss, and a crucial sack which ended up leading to the aforementioned blocked field goal returned for a touchdown.
Jacoby Brissett was trying to run for the first down on a 3rd and 9, but Correa was able to run him down before he could cross the line of scrimmage, sacking him for a one-yard loss.
Correa also made the game-sealing fumble recovery on the Colts’ final drive of the game (which initially had to be reviewed after being blown dead before the recovery but was overturned).
With Cameron Wake now gone for the season, Correa will be counted on now more than ever to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks, as well as continuing to shut down the run game.
