Tannehill may in fact be the Titans’ QB of the future

Titans QB Ryan Tannehill has exceeded all expectations ever since coming to Tennessee. He has played the type of fantastic quarterback play that this franchise has been yearning for.

Every week, this entire fan base wonders to themselves whether Tannehill is legitimately the real deal and potentially the franchise quarterback for years to come, and every week Tannehill tells us all ‘Heck yeah I am’.

No one is mistaking Tannehill for the next Patrick Mahomes or anything, but he continues to show that a team is more than capable of winning with him if the right pieces are around him.

The former eighth-overall pick from Texas A&M May have found himself in the perfect position for his career moving forward considering the rushing attack with Henry and the consistent defensive performances this team gets out of defensive coordinator Dean Pees.

This Titans team will be dangerous if Tannehill continues to perform at the level that he has proved he is capable of playing at ever since he has taken over as starting quarterback.

The former Texas A&M star has completed 72.7 percent of his passes, while throwing for 1,602 yards, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Tannehill does have a fumbling issue that can’t be ignored, however, and that is something that can be fixed with more efficient offensive line play. It’s also something that you can ultimately live with when the team is averaging 29.7 PPG like the Titans are doing since Tannehill took over.
