22. Jacksonville Jaguars

Recap: What an absolute train wreck of a franchise right now. The Jaguars have backed them into a corner (contractually) with Nick Foles, because Gardner Minshew isn’t awful but Foles is.

On top of that, you have guys taking dirty shots and players fighting in the locker room. I have very little faith in this team pulling it together and the head coach should be fired for the culture that he has created and allowed to flourish there…that and the losing.

Outlook: I am being way to nice to the Jaguars, I know. Still, I have enough respect for that pass rush and for what D.J. Chark can do to push them too low on this list.

21. Carolina Panthers

Recap: The Panthers aren’t bad, but they certainly aren’t good either and they need things to break there way which just didn’t happen today. Not being able to stop the run was terrible, but other than that it was more of a display in lethargy than the Panther just being bad.

Outlook: If you can shut down Christian McCaffery then you can completely collapse the Panthers offense. Sure they have a good defense and some other weapons, but you would be better served double covering McCaffery and taking your chances across the board than to think you can hold him down with normal coverage or attention.

In 2020 that needs to change, you can’t have one player be the only thing that makes your offense work.
