24. L.A. Chargers

Recap: What happened to the Chargers pass rush? The Broncos are fielding one of the worst tackle tandems in the NFL but Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram were held without sacks and for only one TFL? It wasn’t only them, the entire team was held without a sack against a rookie QB.

The Chargers and Bears are almost interchangeable to me in the fact that I think both are .500 teams on paper but need more from their QB and their elite talent to show it.

Outlook: The Chargers aren’t making the playoffs, but they need to figure out if they are a team that is going to start a rebuild next year at the QB position or if they are going to roll the dice on someone new and end the Phil Rivers era.

23. Denver Broncos

Recap: Is Drew Lock good? I don’t know, but I know that Courtland Sutton certainly is. Even with Von Miller out, the defense was able to do just enough to win the game in tandem with the offense led by those two.

Outlook: I’m very intrigued by Lock because even if the Broncos are bad and he plays well, it should mean that the Broncos are in position to grab a great player and add them to a roster with some real talent on it.

Can the Broncos be bad enough to land one of those guys while not doubting their 2nd round rookie? Time will tell.
