26. Atlanta Falcons

Recap: Honestly, it wasn’t Drew Brees or Alvin Kamara that beat the Falcons this last week, it was Cameron Jordan and and Taysom Hill. With no Julio Jones, it is almost impressive that the Falcons only lost by 8 but statements like that are why the Falcons are in the bottom-10 of these rankings and not higher.

Outlook: Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Austin Hooper, and Calvin Ridley should be enough to keep that offense relevant going forward. Defensively they do have talent, but if they fire Dan Quinn will all of that talent translate to a new scheme? That is a question that they have to really consider this offseason before making a move.

25. Arizona Cardinals

Recap: Getting shredded by the L.A. Rams offense is not a good look in 2019 and neither is only putting up one touchdown (which came in garbage time). The Kyler Murray is young and exciting and I think they will be fun to finish the season, but today wasn’t a great day for the Cardinals on either side of the ball.

Outlook: The Cardinals should be fun and if Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson can fight off father time for another few years then they are going to have a great core. Unfortunately they are in the most stacked division in the NFL so…that isn’t great.

Either way, they are doing their best to make that leap and join the Seattle Seahawks, L.A. Rams and San Francisco 49ers in the battle for that title.
